A DTF printer is a printing system that uses direct to film technology to create heat-transfer graphics for custom apparel and textile decoration. In this process, the design is printed onto a specially coated film using pigment-based inks, allowing precise color reproduction and fine detail control.
After printing, a dtf powder is applied to the wet ink layer to form an adhesive coating. This layer is then cured with controlled heat, preparing the transfer for application. The finished transfer is pressed onto the garment using a dtf transfer printer, where heat and pressure activate the adhesive and permanently bond the design to the fabric surface.

Is the printer difficult to maintain?
Not at all. The printer is designed with a fully automated maintenance system that monitors internal humidity and temperature and performs automatic printhead cleaning and white ink circulation whenever necessary. As long as the machine remains powered, most maintenance tasks happen automatically, minimizing clogging and reducing the need for manual intervention. Weekly maintenance only takes a few minutes and is easy to follow.
Can I pay with two cards? Do you offer financing options?

Is the RIP software compatible with Mac? Do I have to pay for it? Can it edit images?
The RIP software works only on Windows. Mac users must run it through Parallels or Bootcamp. The software is free of charge but requires the included USB dongle for activation. Since it is designed strictly for image ripping and color processing, it does not provide editing features. You will need to prepare and edit your artwork in programs like Photoshop or Canva before importing it into the RIP software for printing.
What is the difference between A3 and A4?
The core difference between A3 and A4 printers is the printing width. The printing width of A4 is: 8.3inch/210mm, and the printing width of A3 is: 13inch/330mm. A4 printers are suitable for printing children's clothing or small patterns, and A3 is suitable for printing adult clothing and large patterns. You can choose the printer according to your needs.
What is your guarantee policy?
Our warranty policy is: if the motherboard, print head, and waste ink pump are damaged within six months, we will replace them once for free, and the remaining parts will be guaranteed for 24 months (only the shipping fee needs to be paid).
I just started to use DTF printers and I am not very familiar with them. What should I do?
We have more than 20 engineers to help you solve this problem. At the same time, we will put teaching videos in the packaging. You can follow the video to operate. If you encounter something you don't understand, punehod will also have a dedicated after-sales customer service to help you solve it.
How long will it take to print a piece of clothing?
This needs to be determined by the area of the pattern you print. Generally speaking, from selecting the pattern to the final transfer to the clothes, the whole process takes about 9-11 minutes.
What is the difference between A3 L1800 and A3 R1390 version machines?
The L1800 version uses a more advanced motherboard with better color recognition, and will outperform the 1390 version in terms of print results, as well as printer stability. You can consider the R1390 as the base version, while the L1800 is the upgraded version.
What is the difference between A4 L800 and A4 XP600 version machines?
The two machines use different print heads. The XP600 is an upgraded print head with faster printing speed and better printing accuracy.
